The lenses and the side protection make this personal protective gear resistant against low energy impacts (mechanical resistance to an impact of 45m/s), sneezing, dust and scratches due to ultraviolet radiation. The lenses contain a deformation-free field of view and a special surface treatment that prevents fogging when used.
